Once this plugin is activated, you can copy the [MarkComplete] shortcode and paste it anywhere you wish in a LearnDash Course, Lesson or Topic or Quiz. Doing this will turn off the default Mark Complete button so you can control the button display and placement yourself.
When the learner advances in the LearnDash post by clicking this “Mark Complete” button, they will automatically be advanced to the next post and a message will always be displayed to them when they revisit that post.
The message, by default, says “You have marked this complete” and can be changed to whatever you want it to say in the plugin. You can also style and place the message in any way and anywhere you want. See instructions.txt in your downloaded file for directions.
The next [AutoComplete] shortcode is intended to be used in any lesson or topic you want to be automatically mark as complete.
The difference between this shortcode and the [MarkComplete] shortcode is that this one does not display a message or a Mark complete button and has extra code to check that this is the last lesson, therefore, it also marks the course as completed.
Pasting this shortcode in any lesson or topic will automatically mark it as completed so the student will no longer need to. This shortcode will not advance the student to the next lesson as the LearnDash Mark Complete button and our LearnDash Mark Complete shortcode do.
This shortcode removes the default LearnDash Mark Complete button and replaces the button function with our Autocomplete function in your LearnDash lessons.
These shortcodes also work the same way with your GrassBlade enabled lessons once you disable GrassBlade completion tracking.
A full set of instructions to customize this button and message are also included with this plugin.
Here is a demonstration of a whole course being [Autocomplete]-d.
